Last month at JSNation, ZurichJS received the Global Community of the Year award for highest impact at the OSS Awards, the next person I want to speak about is Colin, because some people become part of a community long before there is any official title for what they are doing.
Before Nadja joined, ZurichJS was mostly Bogdan and me trying to hold everything together while coordinating speakers, sponsors, emails, logistics, food, drinks, finances, and community conversations, all while trying to make the room feel calm from the outside.

1 year ago, zurichjs.com did not exist. 407 commits later, the meetup site has 43.4K page views. 8 months ago, conf.zurichjs.com did not exist. 939 commits later, the conf site has 39.9K views in 6 months. Community work is built one commit at a time.

Last week, @zurichjs.com won the highest impact community globally award at the OSS Awards during @jsnation.gitnation.org. What was so cool is that @tolin.ski was there to share the moment and will be speaking at our conference this year. 583 days ago was our first meetup. Less than two years.
@reactsummit.gitnation.org was nothing short of awesome! Grateful to have given my talk on this stage and can’t wait to be back!
