Fall was also when the bull moose would show up in the fields. I don't think they were ever skittish around the equipment and this one walked alongside of my tractor long enough for me to get several tractor seat photos.
One more tractor seat photo. In the Fall after harvest the deer would group together for the winter. By this time of year they were used to being around farm equipment and no longer skittish. The fawns were bigger so the does were aware of but not too concerned by the coyotes either.
Plus hundreds of hawks, lots of deer, several moose and on rare occasions, bald eagles.
Took this video of my small spot on earth, The Palouse in Eastern Washington. Our wheat farm was homesteaded by my maternal great-grandparents in 1883 and except for a few years when I was a high school teacher, I worked in these hills for most of my 71 years. Now retired, this is still my home.
If only Trump had left the multi-national Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) nuclear agreement in place......
