I make music using old hardware and write about videogame history. I dabble with game development and making cool little web things. Was big on TikTok, apparently!

Today's fun, go to put some washing away. Pick up one of the kid's shirt. Somewhere, a low buzz appears...someone is leaf blowing? I fold it and put it in her pile...now the leaf blower is angry and coming from her pile on the bed? Then this arsehole crawls out...

Maybe not on a marketing level, but Sega vs the Nes was definitely a thing, as per this Sega Power article which was published a year before the Snes (also, note that the Sega mag records the Nes making up around 40% of UK console sales for the period)
There's definitely truth that it wasn't necessarily THE battle, but we can see from the first Mean Machines (which was a subsection of C&VG rather than its own mag) that Sega vs Nintendo was most definitely a thing, even before the consoles launches.
Bloody hell, where did Monday go? jist enough time for some Transformers-themed Uno before the youngest's bed time
Back from a long weekend! Have some of Watermouth Castle's classic British pin games
