I'm going through my collection of cheap old PC games and I found my old Windows 8 laptop that still works (!). It has a disc drive. So I uh... started testing 1998-2005 discs and I can actually play a good chunk of them offline. It even recognizes the DualSense and has HDMI output. Wealth.
Another lucky shmup find on the used market, published by Strictly Limited, surprisingly cheap though, under the retail price (case is damaged but the cover is intact, so I'll just replace it). Disc contains Eschatos, Judgment Silversword + Cardinal Sin. Very solid, fundamental stuff.
Lucky find: Espgaluda II for the Switch. I didn't plan on having so many Cave shmups, but they just come to me. Two-sided poster is a nice bonus.
Watched Friedkin's The French Connection for the first time. It asymptotically inches towards both cool and bleak, arriving at somewhere else. Then I watched Frankenheimer's sequel. Wild. Like Home Alone 2, RoboCop 2. Naturally, I liked it. Also, how come the hot chemist isn't in anything else?

Fangamer @fangamer.com also have an EU store, with insanely good games on disc like Hollow Knight, UFO 50, Little Kitty Big City, Crow Country, Stardew Valley. I hope Mouthwashing happens too.
