Stepping gently on Turrbal and Jagera country in the great southern land. I talk to plants, adore my grandkids, love retired life, #renewables & #Nirvana. Peace, love, empathy. xxx
Well obvs that's the hero chef, who used his first-aid training to save a life! This is the 88year old, also in the story.
Today! Now! The final section of the National Walk for Truth, in Canberra this morning. The walk begins with a Smoking Ceremony at 9:30 and concludes with a celebratory event at Parliament House at 11am. www.walkfortruth.com #reconciliation #auspol
He could be Spidey or one of Spidey's Amazing Friends, if you ask the current toddler generation
Throughout the article .. @nytimes.com apparently thinks "Britain" is interchangeable with the "UK".
Got conned into a short-term sub to The Daily Fail because they paywalled an article I really wanted to read. But oh boy have I been having fun in the comments, which are mostly full of PHON types who are unfamiliar with facts. DM treats Peter Van Onselen as if he's a journalist, LOL. #auspol
As someone who delights in not keeping track of stuff, now I find out it's a public holiday in three places. Not sure which one is affecting the business I'm trying to transact, but that's another day I'll be waiting. Then I find out they've moved to summer time in the US Pacific NW. 🌅 😅 Not UK yet.
Numpty! He's getting a nose-ring soon, so Trump can parade him around like the fool he is.
As a patriotic Queenslander and Aussie, just here to let everyone know Cadbury has made a "special edition" chocolate bar - Bundaberg Rum flavour. ($4 on special now at Coles). Not sure if I got drunk on the rum or the dark chocolate, but I ate a bit too much on my first sitting. #yum
I've been regularly buying these dark chocolate liquorice bullets at my local convenience store. Sad to give them up when I thought they might have *some health benefits. Anyway so I bought red frogs instead last night when I went for milk.
Took this pic two years ago at Sea-Tac, Alaska Air's home base. But things are a-changing and this native guy won't be on their planes any more. .. /2
Mine doesn't do that! Is it a setting? I have a blue upward arrow screen lower left, and I press that to see the latest. Personally I wish they would move that arrow higher up on the screen.
But someone else sent me this pic from last night. Brisbane River at Hamilton.
My phone took a hopeless pic of a huge yellow moon last night. It gave equal prominence to a much smaller light on a nearby business. Apparently Apple etc know how bad their moon pics are so newer phones detect when you're pointing at the moon, and insert a fake disc to make it look better!
Yes they are! I thought the one in my garden might have been injured or in distress, given it was hopeless at being quiet, crashing around in bushes and trees. But apparently they do that! It hung around for a day or so.
That's after you've seen it advertised on TV or the internet, because of course Americans can advertise prescription drugs!
Screenshot from a video - the mirror reflection does not match what we can see on the stairs. youtu.be/Ff9W0vvbOyQ?...
Yes @kibblesmith.com I will unfollow you. No replies, no quote posts allowed - are you the kid who plays sport on the proviso of no physical contact? Newsom IS fucking doing something and apparently you don't get it.
Felt this shaking my house in #Brisbane!! Went on for maybe 20 seconds. #earthquake
ABC is driving me bonkers. What year, ABC, what year did you publish this?
Also, I see your data is about large-scale installations whereas rooftop may be the bulk of Qld's solar generation. Qld has about half NSW's population, but apparently we are neck-and-neck on actual PV output. So maybe not fair to call Qld'ers dinosaurs.
