The garlic harvest for 2026. 👐 German Extra Hardy, zone 6B in a raised bed. Not perfect, but I felt like I knew what I was doing this time. The two best heads were held back to plant in the fall. This bed has gotten too shady to sustain veggies, so it's nice it still worked for this. 🧄

Even with ...everything..., my brain decided to serve me up an entire story arc while I was in the shower a few days ago. Something about it tickled the "this has already been done" centers of my brain, and I tracked it down: it's not *not* The Emperor's New Groove. Still. Different enough.

Confirmed, D2D doesn't have cozy fantasy as a category, though Amazon (which has options beyond BISAC categorization) does have it now. That makes sense to me; the more stringent / old school system has not added it yet, but the more frequently updated one has. (Half day, setting stuff up 😁)

It's annoying that D2D has to fight the tide of slop by charging us, but I'm kinda okay with "either % or flat rate." They aren't double dipping on anyone, it seems like. $100 a year minimum covers almost everyone. *I* made $200 last year, and I have MAYBE ~5 real followers 🙃
