I’ve seen a few people posting about energy drinks this week. I’ve been drinking stuff by this company for ~2 years now & they’ve just expanded their range. Some of it is too sweet for my taste, but this is on the lower end & the Juicy Peach flavour is my fave. Also do flavoured lattes. (Not an ad!)

Funny, I got my husband to take this photo a few days ago as I couldn’t stop admiring the way the sea and sky continued onto the back cover.

The book Everything Will Swallow You by Tom Cox, fully opened so the entire cover art can be appreciated. The sea and sky from the front page continue atmospherically onto the back.

Not sure which is worse

May I share the best photo of a goat that I’ve ever taken? From 2022 at Chatsworth estate.

A goat behind a gate. Its mouth is slightly over the rail of the gate, with some of its beard hanging over the edge. Its bottom teeth are sticking out and its eyes are slightly far apart, giving it a rather empty-headed appearance.

Tonight’s birthday boy (husband, 42) likes chocolate cake. Chocolate cake is unsafe for dogs, so despite being a chocolate Labrador the dog didn’t get any birthday cake this time. He is Not Happy. He’s displaying his displeasure by lying in the middle of the room Not Looking at anyone.

21st June 2026. 22:45. I step outside to get a photo of the late night sky on this lovely long June day. Someone has no care for my photography. It’s his garden and he only obliges us by sharing it. Rather than an attempt at artistry I instead present: dog pissing at sunset. 🤷🏻‍♀️
