Two homemade corner shelves. One is larger, and about a metre higher than the lower one.

The lower one holds a huge Yamaha MSP10 speaker with a spider plant on top in a red kidney beans tin. The lower shelf is supported on its front two chamfered corners with hemp rope extending up to the top shelf.

It looks rather precarious.

progress so far on the robot shopping assistant- - xbox kinetic v1 and v2 janked and USBified so bobot has eyes and knows where he is going and doesn’t crash (by accident anyway) - hoverboard arrived - shopping basket is still here

An Xbox One Kinect V2 sensor bar connected to a MacBook. One of the screens of the setup computer has four panels:

1. The top left is the black and white infrared view that the Xbox Kinect sensor sees.
2. The bottom left is an RGB standard camera-type view.
3. The bottom right is a black and white depth map that the sensor creates for a 3D visualisation.
4. The top right is a sort of mix between the depth map and the RGB.

For context, the connecting of the sensor bar to USB is a very janked job, with each USB 3.0 wire individually soldered and held in place with cloth tape and hope.

wormery magic. these wicked worms have turned smelly food waste 💩 into lovely (and odourless) compost!!

picked up a portable label printer but it only works with an awful app. so am reverse-engineering its bluetooth commands to be able to print from a potato(/raspberry pi to be able to print stupid stuff automatically)
