As reporting continues to surface about Madison Square Garden using facial recognition tech to identify, harass & ban people, it's important to highlight the many venues have prioritized artist & patron safety by pledging NOT to use this tech.

If it wasn't abundantly clear that MSG & other venues that scan patrons bio-metric data, do not care about people’s privacy, rights, or safety, this is a prime example (excerpt is from Wired article in first post).

The database contains a request for “a full threat management check” on Jessica Tisch and provides her personal phone number, her email, and her home address at the time. Tisch was appointed commissioner of the New York Police Department three months later and remains in the position.'

According to reporting Madison Square Garden is keeping a talent database tracking the race, gender identity & sexual orientation of a select few celebrities. What's also apparent is the tracking of anyone critical of MSG owners or management...

An update on the KIDS Act: the package of censorship and surveillance "kids safety" bills that Congress rushed to a vote, passed out of the House last night on a 267-117 vote (with 47 members not voting). This is bad news, but not the end of the road. KOSA is not law yet.
