It's hard to pick a single favorite performer in Edgar Wright's THE RUNNING MAN (which I'm finally catching up with), but I think it's Colman Domingo. I've seen so many shitty, lazy takes on the Evil Game Show Host that just lean on the campiness and don't try. Domingo goes HARD and it's wonderful.

Artemis II in Eclipse

From the crew’s perspective, the Moon appears large enough to completely block the Sun, creating nearly 54 minutes of totality and extending the view far beyond what is possible from Earth. The corona forms a glowing halo around the dark lunar disk, revealing details of the Sun’s outer atmosphere typically hidden by its brightness. Also visible are stars, typically too faint to see when imaging the Moon, but with the Moon in darkness stars are readily imaged. On the way home from #NoKings, I saw a train ad for a VPN that said "FIGHT FOR FREE ASSOCIATION". I snapped a photo for no other reason than to see if I could use the magic eraser tool to make it say "FIGHT FOR FREE ASS" but it did something much better.

A "high-velocity air rifle" firing "metal projectiles" is a BB gun, and if this guy plink-plinked even one "projectile" in the cops' direction, then they fucking knew it was a BB gun and they killed him anyway. Way to go, Bellevue PD.

A Bellevue police officer shot and killed a man who shot at officers with a “high-velocity air rifle” early Friday, investigators confirmed nearly 18 hours later.

Washington State Patrol Sgt. Jermaine Walker confirmed the fatal shooting, which is under investigation by King County’s Independent Force Investigation Team. The shooting happened about 12:30 a.m. Friday.

Walker said no other information about the shooting victim, or the involved officer or officers has been released. Bellevue police spokesperson Seth Tyler said the department would not independently release body- or dash-camera video. That will be left up to the independent investigators, he said.

Officers recovered an air rifle that fired metal projectiles, Walker said.

Investigators did not release the nature of the call officers responded to. The shooting occurred following a lengthy standoff, Walker said.
