We have an appointment with the local vet next week and we're going to discuss options. She's not in pain, and acting quite normal, which makes this harder for Jen and I. We've had Mischief for 16 years. She's somewhere between 17-18. We found her in the backyard and fell head over heels.
Mischief came home 2 days later. She's on a soft food diet and quite perky. The biopsy came back today. It's aggressive. It's spread. It's not treatable. We honestly don't know how long she has left. We're going to keep her happy and give her the best end of life care we can.
So, about 2 weeks ago I noticed an issue with Mischief. It seemed as if her jaw was dislocated. After two emergency vet visits, they attempted to correct the issue and found a tumor in her jaw which caused the distention in her mouth. They removed a tooth that got infected and did a biopsy. 🧵
