OK, the new anime Jaadugar: A Witch in Mongolia REALLY has everything I want. Set in what seems to my non-historian ass a very accurate 13th-century Persia and Mongolia, it is made by Science Saru so the art and animation are outstanding. This looks to be for me what Orb was for many.
