And then Jackson Franklin For Congress showed up! What great caring energy! He asked us, what’s top of mind for you all right now? (It was really nice to vent).
The enthusiastic honks started before we even picked up our signs. People know & expect us at that corner, by now. (We’ve been out here weekly since September). In fact, passersby regularly message Fishers Resists to tell us we make their day. Some even stop to join us.
Not gonna lie, protesting yesterday in pouring rain in 40 degree weather made me ask myself, Why am I doing this again? I quickly got my answers.
