Foreigner. Citizen. Educated. Ignorant. Expert. Fool. Aware. Bewildered. I muddle along, generally fit for purpose.
We have this species locally in New Zealand as well. Here it’s called Pūteketeke. NZ Bird of the year in 2023, mostly thanks to the efforts of John Oliver who just seemed to like saying Pūteketeke.
Always bemuses me when I see people who seem to believe that political opposition has to be a monolith. It doesn’t. In fact it’s more efficient and will reach more people the more diverse it is. Yes, you need to take some common approaches, but saying sit in the back seat and shut up is stupidity.
I’ll ponder the virile one, I’m so far gone that’s a distant memory. Second option would be a mermaid riding into battle on a unicorn - anime style. Cliched, but I think you could carry it. Third option I kind of like self portrait with death playing a fiddle.
Don’t for a second believe Coca Cola’s Santa propaganda. Never be happy standing in front of people dressed like that.
Very pretty. The same sense of joy and wonder I had finding this hugging a mountain top.
Ever seen a dog do this before? This was rock number seven. Straight back in for number eight and still going when we left.
One of my favourite birds - rifleman (Acanthisitta chloris) (Māori: tītipounamu). Weighs around 6g. Friendly. Seldom still for more than a second or two. Very high pitched call (zit zit). This one is a male.
A movie that takes place (at least partially) where you’re from.
Last time I was in Sydney these were everywhere. Australia. 🤷♂️
How about this for something shorter, less obfuscating, and to the point. It's still largely Jeffries words, just with the bullshit stripped. I'd be harsher, but this would have been a big improvement IMO.
Sorry, but this is strongly implying that he did something wrong. Which is unnecessary in the context of attacking the administration for breaching the law and constitutional rights.
It takes more than suspension of an election during a time of war when there is no possibility of a free and fair election in any case. Was David Lloyd George dictator in WWI? Was Churchill dictator in WWII? The UK was better placed to hold elections than Ukraine is now. Not good reasoning.
Look what just arrived. Armed with this knowledge I should have everything sorted in no time at all, after all, how hard can it be!
"You've been kidnapped. The characters from the last TV show you watched are trying to rescue you. Who is coming to save you?" Relaxed.
I found 1986 a bit lean tbh. Then I might have said So. Now maybe I’d pick Kaleidoscope World.
