To The Teeth's FFO on this album are killing me: totheteeth.substack.com/p/to-the-tee... To The Teeth rules, by the way.
I love it when the grocery store near me puts out this sign because I get to think about this tweet.
My random campaign generator just produced a couple bangers for names. (deleted and reposted because I forgot alt text)
Time to do the second half of this project: the creation of a gazetteer PDF to go along with the map. Been working on the title page. ("Enthusiastic Man" is a randomly generated name which is just a random adjective and random noun.) (repost because I forgot the alt text last time)
Rivers are now no longer perfect 60 degree turns. (The butts remain.)
Well, this dumb thing now has points of interest - towns, cities, all kinds of stuff.
I added deserts to my map generator. Underlying this is a crude climate model (along with an elevation model).
While I anxiously watch the Mariners game, I also added forests into this thing.
Well, latest version adds volcanos, which is fun. Also, cleaned up some things with river generation, although it's still not quite where I want it. Oh, and I added some hex numbers.
Introducing: ugly lakes. This map generator is getting more and more map like (after you adjust for the ugly/butt-tastic "artwork" that I put together).
Well, rivers are working. Ugly, but working. Next step, probably lakes, and then probably making the terrain types more sophisticated.
Can't tell if the categorization on my list app got this one extremely wrong or extremely right.
The hack I used to get a random comic for my DInosaur Comics bot broke (Go Comics has removed their random page), so I'm going to have to go directly to qwantz.com to get my comic. Fine, whatever. It did, however, lead to a delight in inspecting the page.
I'm sorting through my playtest junk bin and came across these cards from an early version of Fox in the Forest. The top row was from a version that included a mana economy and spells. The others are from when it still had Cribbage DNA in it (these modified the scoring rules each hand).
All right, I rounded up a little. But as promised, royalties from Fox in the Forest to The Trevor Project this quarter. @czechgames.com, how are you going to make it right?
