Beautiful work! ♥️ You might be interested in a fun x-ray sequence animation we shot a few years back, showing just how complex the multi-element optics train motion is in a modern lens to make zoom and focus work. I'd love to see your simulator demonstrate a similar multi-element lens setup!
Forgot to share this! This is technically 0½G in the picture, but I am now wearing a 00G since this past weekend! The rainbow captive bead rings have been in for Pride and I love how they look at feel. I will probably switch them to black with silver beads in normal wear. May go thicker ring, too! ❤️
We layed on the dock the other day with the goats and didn't realize there was an ant colony that took up residence. We got to have a bonding experience with the goats where we all shared the experience of rapidly brushing ants off of our respective persons and showing equal displeasure. 0/10

Crowd-scanning at safe+legal levels looked great 20 years ago when we didn't have modern lighting rigs to compete with. Now it looks just looks dim and very unimpressive on the whole. Still a huge safety liability to the convention regardless.
There was a brief pause when they unrolled the parachute. People recognized what it was from grade school and rushed over to participate, either holding or sitting under. The lawn puppies are enjoying the nice weather out finally! They particularly enjoy their new goat fort as we build out more of the play area.
Jellyfish Porthole Install! Kreisel tank is now in place on a linear bearing assembly that @judah.bsky.social and I designed. It allows smoothly sliding about 350lbs (when filled) in order to access the hatch on the top of the tank but otherwise stay entirely flushed up against the porthole wall.
The 120L Kreisel Tank for the jellyfish showed up today! @judah.bsky.social is going to get it in it's final location this weekend so I can fill it and start cycling the tank, which will take about 4 weeks to get it ready for the Moon Jellys!
Funkiest QFN I have seen to date. Radar send and receive and digital measurement in the same chip and no external antennas needed! All of those perimeter vias are straight to the ground plane. This was from a board we assembled for a customer last year. ☆ ADMIRE THE MAGIC RUNES ☆
Yes! We have a really nice 10-top Tiki Bar space in the basement that @judah.bsky.social has been slowly working on theming out! There's another section we're working on now with a bathroom and hallway. We recently added a little N-gauge train that goes around on the ceiling because why not? <3
Decided to try my hand at caring for Moon Jellyfish as a unique thematic addition to our Tiki Bar space! Just ordered a 120L Kreisel tank so @judah.bsky.social can start framing this in to the fake underwater porthole we want to do on the wall. (also no, this is not an April Fools thing! XD)
First test run of deep-cleaning the pool on a diving hookah. I was probably down for close to an hour but now the pool is REALLY clean! Really relaxing since we keep the water around 85F / 30C. <3
