i listened to so many podcasts just finding pets and battling and collecting things over the years
did that game display thing. decided to not go for super obscure games but instead games i'd consider formative + that i've aggressively recommended to people before (minus tf2, but that's just Super Formative. could sub in Tunic) wildly to me apparently bugsnax is a rarer include than anodyne 2
as someone who's mostly just culturally osmosed all of ff7 i'm asking the important questions on my discord
here's the list, which is maybe a third my contributions. Self Selected is one I'd listen to an entire campaign about
trying to find out why led me to discover that the original release could be folded out into a display box which is cool image source: mostly-retro.com/2013/05/15/r...
this is how it opens! it's extremely clear why the main body of article starts off how it does if you're actually reading it instead of basing an opinion on a strategically cropped screenshot
this was what my main neopet looked like because i was too young to understand the econony and acquire paintbrushes and mostly just played the flash games i am not sure whether that subtracts or adds to the visual of doing a session 0 conversation on whether we want to play out potential sex scenes
i remember tower of druaga mainly because the gamecube jrpg baten kaitos had an entire segment based on it that was pretty inexplicable without context (and also wild with)
wrote a bunch of words on person of interest in hopes that i can convince SOMEONE i know to both watch it and post their thoughts at me it's not a perfect show but it's a special show and i think a lot about it
fun fact: when willis wanted to really get into their feelings about christianity in shortpacked they did so by resurrecting literal historical jesus to work at the store (i think doa is a better comic than shortpacked but it's also a very wild ride)
not going to name and shame yet bc afaict there's crediting once you finish the daily puzzle but i feel like you really should be making the original author as visible as your own name on the site instead of doing this meaningless "all credit goes to the artist"-type fluff
i've said it more than a few times here, but if you're at all interested in oddball works like petscop and ENA, i extremely highly recommend anodyne 2. you don't _have_ to have played the first game (though it's also very good) i love a game that wants you to push hard against its seams and explore
usually i archive dive channels pretty hard when i get into them but i don't really Want to get blindsided by stuff in old videos courtney used their entire prom bit a couple months back to just go 'hey things used to be fucked up here' and that's when i wrote off doing it lol
