It’s still #randomgamesaturday in the West Coast, so here’s Gran Turismo 2. Polyphony’s driving sim gets a meatier follow-up that spans two discs, one for Arcade Mode to simply pick up and play and a Simulator Mode if you want to explore everything the game has to offer.
The brand I drink, Tazo, doesn’t have nutmeg as most others don’t seem to have any. I tend to take hybrid strains with a cup of this tea on the ready.
“Featuring Dante from the Devil May Cry™️ series.” Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne is today’s #randomgamesaturday. The entry that helped SMT gain Western success thanks to featuring Capcom’s demon hunter as a boss character. It’s also one of the hardest JRPGs out there.
I’M READY! I’M READY! I’M READY! SpongeBob SquarePants: SuperSponge is today’s #randomgamesaturday. The first game based on Stephen Hillenburg’s popular Nicktoons series to be released, and it’s a fun one despite its incredibly short length.
For #randomgamesaturday, I have this copy of Super Mario World that just had its save battery dried out. 😭

Tekken Tag Tournament is today’s #randomgamesaturday. The PS2 was the hottest new console in the year 2000, and what better way to showcase its hardware capabilities than to release a recent arcade fighter.
The N64 didn’t have that many RPGs like the PS1 did, but I definitely recommend checking out Ogre Battle 64. A meaty experience all packed into a 14 MB cart.

Klonoa 2: Lunatea’s Veil is today #randomgamesaturday. The follow-up to Door to Phantomile sees our hero sent to a new world and help two fellows save it from catastrophe. An underappreciated PS2 platformer that managed to sell better than its predecessor in the West thanks to demo discs.
The bobcat finally gets his due. Bubsy 4D is today’s #randomgamesaturday. After years of being a laughingstock, the team at Fabraz helped give Bubsy a much needed revival. An incredibly fun platformer full of charm, despite its short length.

Sonic Mega Collection Plus is today’s #randomgamesaturday. Following the release of Sonic Heroes, SEGA wanted to bring the best-selling Mega Collection to other platforms. Along with Sonic’s 16-Bit Adventures comes a ton of other classics added into the mix as well as save states.

It’s still #randomgamesaturday in the West Coast, ending with SoulCalibur II. SoulCalibur was already a great game and a Dreamcast showcase, so how would Namco improve upon it? Three guest fighters for each platform, a robust yet challenging single-player mode, and plenty of unlockables.
