Look at how janky this gpu is, I love it. Bought off ebay for spares/repairs for about half price. I repaired it the other day by spending £10 on the correct fan. I almost felt bad, I love the jankiness of this. The Macgyvering with zip-ties of the fan onto it.
Please don't ask why I own 101 copies of a mediocre/dull film from 2002. Let's just say that I have strange friends... and one of them is encased in epoxy
Does anyone else get irrationally annoyed that they've added more colours to the Google calendar events options? 🤔 Anyway, in other news I've turned 47 today. No new aches yet, just the 101st copy of Signs, on DVD this time, from an unknown donor.
Woke up to this temperature in the bedroom... ...and a rejection via recruitment company for a cute indie firm that did a whimsical looking game and a 4 day working week 😢 I'd have taken the lowest pay they offered for that role but recruiter wouldn't let me.
People are missing the little book that came in the plastic DVD case... I'd like to introduce you to what you're really missing out on! Publishers have been skimping on things for decades!

I will have to get off caffeine again after this trip. I've been drinking regular tea and cola, not supposed to do that with the super fast heart thingey problem. It's been fine for a few days though.

I did try to take some decent pictures, and not just portrait pictures of landscapes, and landscape pictures of portraits like usual
I'm still in Prague, and omg I'm exhausted. Last day though, limping from all the walking. Yesterday I booked a 3 hour Alternative Art walking tour. Took a 3 hour walk before it, went for beers afterwards with a friend 🤔 might have overdone it!

Heat pump installation is complete! I'm going to have a challenge boxing it in 🤔 but so far very happy with it. Once I've gotten used to setting the schedules for water and heating, along with temps etc I'll post more about it
After much chaos the heating system is now gurgling away being filled with water in preparation for commissioning. We did run into a house created problem. The stop tap inside failed... so did the one in the street as it was unmaintained & about 100 years old 🤦♂️ Replacing the outside stop tap!
Currently getting a heat pump installed. It's a bit chaotic 😁 All new radiators throughout the house, plus new cylinder, and the heat pump itself outside. Glad this was all organised and sorted before I got made redundant last week.
Had a trip to Birmingham to see Gnome playing a gig. Amazing fun, enhanced with silly hats of course! Then to Think Tank, lunch at Dishoom. Wonderful time
