Social Maneuvering
People often won’t do what you want just because you ask
them to. You need to persuade them, making your offer or
request as enticing as possible. You don’t have to use positive
enticements — “Your wife won’t find out about your affair,” is
often more effective than “Here’s fifty bucks for your trouble.”
You just need to find out what the other person wants.
Goals & Doors

To begin a Social maneuver, you need to declare your charac-
ter’s intended goal: What you want the victim to do, and how

your character is going to make that happen. At this point, you
only need to announce the initial stages. The Storyteller will
determine if the goal is reasonable — while a con-artist could
convince a rich victim to hand over a large sum of money, he

probably can’t convince her to abandon all her wealth, at least
not without supernatural powers.
Each victim has a number of Doors, which reflect her resistance
to coercion, her skepticism, and her mistrust of other people. A
character has a base number of Doors equal to the lower of her
Resolve or Composure. If the announced goal would be a breaking
point or act of hubris for the victim, add two Doors. If the goal

would prevent the victim from resolving an Aspiration or Obses-
sion, add a Door. Acting against a victim’s Virtue also adds a Door.

The number of Doors can change as the situation alters. If the goal
seems mundane at first but ends up being reprehensible, it will probably
increase the number of Doors required. If your character changes his
goal, any Doors that he’s opened remain open, but assess Aspirations,
Obsessions, Virtues, and breaking points in case of a potential increase.
A character has to open Doors one by one. Every successful
roll opens one Door — not one per success. As Doors represent
a victim’s unwillingness to do what your character asks, they’re
strictly a one-way relationship.

I am so Happy!!!! Thank you all!! I would put stuff on sale to celebrate but all my stuff is free. This is a big milestone I have been looking forward to, most of my stuff has been developed for game jams, but in the future I would love to do something bigger and this makes me think I could.

I am not great at art, and I am open about that, but I think this drawing I made for All The Little Bits And Pieces(My TTRPG about playing decaying robots for the Breathless SRD) is my favorite thing I have drawn. What if those mfs were cozy for real

The example group of robots from the Cover of the game, all collapsed into a pile. Only one of them at all resembles a human, while one resembles a fusion of one of those plasma balls and a jellyfish and the other is a massive cube with a hat wearing humanoid torso and head on top.

Decided to do a drawing of my Nobilis TTRPG charecter and his shard. Colker(he) is an infamous dark wizard, teacher and false god of the apocalypse who wields a achronological fire that turns things to ash without burning them. Coldin(She) is a cryogenics expert and his soul shard.
