There are also two additional varieties! One that’s basically “all yolk” and one that’s Korean style with a sesame oil seasoning!
The finished product! The Texas BBQ struck me as more peppery, and the Kansas City BBQ more tomato-y (as it should), and the ingredients seem to bear that out; Texas features beef stock and black pepper, while Kansas City features pork stock, molasses, and tomato. Both are tasty and worth trying!
Dry, both flavors look pretty similar, with the Kansas City version a little redder. You can see the standard textured soy protein meat bits in both, but no real vegetables to speak of in either.
I am no BBQ connoisseur, so my opinions about these flavors probably won't rise above that they're pretty tasty 😋 Please don’t flay me for it 😬
All righty, folks, it's time once again for some new #CupNoodles! It's not too weird this time…Texas BBQ and Kansas City BBQ!
Bailey is a big fan of Krypto the Superdog 😊🐶 #Supergirl #Sheltie #シェルティ #BaileyTheDog
Although, you know, I will remind everyone that I did try this winner 😈
Kinda trying to decide what this face means 😅🐶🤔 #Sheltie #シェルティ #BaileyTheDog
Name a TV show you’re positive no one remembers but you. I used Century City for another one of these, but I think it’s still applicable here 😅 But to suggest something different, I will also offer up Total Recall 2070 😀
Well, I've finally gone and jumped on the Dungeon Crawler Carl train, and I think I'm hooked. Goddamnit, Donut!
When you heat it up, it softens up a bit. If you work at it, it gets sort of pasty, like deviled ham. It actually looks — and tastes — a lot like corned beef hash, minus the potatoes.
Time to slide it out of the can. Oh look, it's actually quite pink! I expected it to be more brown, like the surface in the last pic. I've seen commentary that likens it to Spam, but its consistency is not nearly as solid.
Let's open it up. Honestly, not unlike any canned meat I've seen, with a little gelled collagen (?), some congealed fat, and the meat itself. Not the prettiest thing, but not unexpected.
Let's talk about this tin that I found at Don Quijote the other day: Ox & Palm brand "Sita" Camp Pie Luncheon Loaf…an auspicious beginning 😅 Mutton! Beef lips! Beef tongue! It's Australian! Sue me, I was curious 😬
