HEARTLOVEPOWERTEMPLE by rabbit maid studios I don't think anything I can say can describe this accurately. I feel transcended into another plane of existence. Incredibly surreal and amazing. I love the characters so much. 10/10. absolutely gonna be in my top VNs this year easy.
Ashita, Watashi wa Dareka no Kanojo I didn't realize it was an adaption of a manga until halfway through but was already invested and kept watching anyway. Ensemble cast of women being taken advantage of by society, especially men. gave me an emotional roller coaster. definitely reading the manga.
in our visual novel discord server we just started week 3 of our current bookclub 'Dracu-Riot!' if anyone would like to join us! Our server is mostly ran by queer women and we do not tolerate homophobia, transphobia, racism, etc. discord.gg/NueJSKFeqx
My Melody & Kuromi Absolutely delightful. with the bright colors and stop motion + props, the anime is pure eye candy and tells a charming story especially for little ones.
Kindred Spirits on the Roof. A cute little visual novel. My main complaint is that the OST is very minimal. However it has some of the better written sex scenes I've read. There are several lesbian couples and they were actually written to be the awkward virgins that they are.
idk why the last anime vanished but it was Revolutionary Girl Utena honestly feel like it got me really good komiko.app/anime-aura
Flowers -Le volume sur hiver- I've know these characters for year and now it's goodbye ;~; I feel incredibly satisfied with the ending of this 4 part series.
Umamusume: Pretty Derby - Beginning of a New Era I watched this in theaters, it was so hyped AAAAA
Fustuk by Robert Mgrdich Apelian very fascinating and absolutely gorgeous art
Sousaku Kanojo no Ren'ai Koushiki Starts off really strong, Each of the 4 heroines is given 2 arcs in the common however this bites back when the VN splits off into their routes. 2 of the girls have well thought out routes. the other have unfortunately fizzles out super hard.
Osomatsu-san the Glistening fruit + Endless Fruit both their names are really long so summarizing them These felt more like long special episodes than movies imo. They're not bad but not the best they've made. I personally liked the island one more.
Osomatsu-San THE MOVIE Osomatsu-san is one of my favorite anime of all time and I think this movie did a really good job. Loved having a movie budget for these boys.
The Climber by Shinichi Sakamoto I didn't like the start very well but glad I gave it a chance since I heard this manga was really good. Around Chapter 30 it starts to really kick off for me and I was hooked, just about binge read this series. Absolutely gorgeous panels too.
Astral Panic I really loved the art, every page was a visual delight. The character and story is a really good read.
Helena and Mr. Big Bad Wolf really good series dealing with loss and using imagination.
On Starlit Shores Super pretty graphic novel with a good message. Some neat fantasy and folklore stuff too.
Seaside Stranger: Umibe no Étranger Gay boys on an island being gay. Cute Manga. Loooved the art a lot in it.
My Poison Princess Is Still Cute cute little manga. I liked the characters a lot, just wish it didn't feel so repetitive, but at least it ended in 3 volumes.
Steins;Gate 0 incredible VN, I enjoyed how they wrote Okabe (Okarin) having a sudden personality shift due to trauma, it felt very human. I liked that we got to learn more about how Kurisu was a person outside of Okabe's perspective. Her friends, her interests, etc. Was a very solid sequel to me.
Smell by Nagabe I don't have a sniff fetish and I honestly read this because of the author and the art, I still enjoyed it. Cute fellas discovering themselves.
Sink Your Teeth In by superbiasedgary cute short VN about a pushy women wanting a vampire to bite her. I really like the dialogue selection that shows just how her thoughts are all over the place.
"He Fucked the Girl Out of Me" by Taylor McCue Indie visual novel that's semi autobiographical sorry about a TransWoman being pushed into sex work so she can afford hormones. Heavy but incredibly powerful story. I was engrossed immediately. Stories like these need to be protected. Highly recommend.
May I Take your Order? by alexisroyce Been craving an indie game and this was a really fun one! You're a waiter/waitress/ Wait,,zem? (you can have nonbinary pronouns) serving a man madly in love with his eldritch horror girlfriend. Her design along with her outfit is so *chef's kiss* Check it out.
