👀 Seeking this fur color 👀 Before I fully commit to airbrushing to get this shade of red-brown, do any makers have a source for teddy style 1" fur in this color? We're trying for an auburn look so howl's options don't fit and bz short shag is the wrong texture for the other color I'm using! Thanks!

In this week's edition of "What Else Can Go Wrong" we got sideswiped on the highway today and we're still in the red from last month's emergencies. We are dependant on our car for our survival and don't have rental coverage on our insurance plus a $500 deductible. Really need to get these paws sold!

Thinking about May and what we can get done when we aren't having to deal with a fresh crisis... I ended up losing half of June to dealing with the house and recovering from my trip down and back. Really need July to be somewhat stable so we can have enough time to create! It makes a difference...

These were surprisingly difficult to get just right, but they're done! One final older shop casting remaining and I saved the best for last 🌈 (let's hope it works in one try lol I really want to do something else today too)

Well it's dealt with, but it's way more than I was quoted. I talked to him about it and he said he'd do the locks and the water heater install for the final quote and that makes it pretty reasonable. It's rough but honestly this is what it's like having work done in that city, and he did a great job
That's exactly what I did on these ones! I replaced the hidden zipper with a panel of the stretch fur, it worked great for a really snug fit (my model is shorter than the client though)

Quick update: got pictures, they're almost done with the work now so we're about to submit our request to the city to not have their crew come out. Please wish me luck with that call... Looking like $2300 total, depending on the size of the last haul off load. Brutal, but hopefully this is solved.

I'm so tired of this situation. My appointment was scheduled for 9-11am on Thursday. My deadline for a certified mailing to the city was Saturday. Monday is the last day I can call or email to have them not come out. This is what doing literally anything in Midland is like and I'm not exaggerating.
