FPL legend. Handsome. Funny. Dangerous. Humble. 23/24 OR 5k. I actually follow back.
I watched the Prodigy at Glastonbury last summer and it was probably the best set I’ve ever been to.
Feels pretty massive for both teams individually, what it means for the table, the teams around them, and the European spots.
I think my Free Hit 33 selection might be complete, ultimately opted for players I believe to be: 1. The most likely to start/play both games, 2. Points potential Good luck all! Except Bench Boosters you can sod off. 🤣
#FPL GW23 selection: Tough decisions this week. Playing good attackers with tough fixtures over good defenders with great fixtures. Boils down to attacking players being more exciting to be honest. Strong bench though so can handle rotation as long as they don’t come on as subs! Good luck all.
I bought him last week and he’s already rewarding me. I said to a friend recently that if we’d just picked obvious choices like Pickford, Tarko, Gabriel, Senesi, Semenyo, Rogers, Bruno F, Haaland etc and kept them all season we’d have most of the top points scorers in each position anyway! 🤣
#FPL GW22 selection: Wildcard! Wanted to make some changes so went early in the week to manage prices, final changes made last night and this is the squad: Feel good about having Guehi ready for his City move, solid defensive rotation options and Bruno F and Semenyo in. Good luck all.
#FPL GW21 selection: After a good week (71 points) I had some issues I need to slowly fix week by week, Ekitike stays in case he’s fit for BUR next but Cunha, O’Reilly and Foden could be moved on soon. First up though, and this weeks transfer: J. Anderson > Mukiele Good luck all.
#FPL GW20 Review: Points: 71 OR: 797k⬆️ ⭐️ Thiaw: Massive week for him after recent disappointments. 🤦🏻♂️ Haaland: Captain fail again, but not a lot of other great options to not too painful. 📝Summary: Want to do some surgery, but dangerous to Wildcard early in a transfer window.
#FPL GW20 selection: After back to back disasters and bench mega hauls I’ve been tempted to Wildcard, but I need to hold off to see what some of the January transfer moves look like first: Wilson > Rogers. Good luck all.
#FPL GW18 Review: Points: 40 OR: 697k⬇️ ⭐️ Saka: A few 5 pointers but 7 for Saka in a not great week. 🤦🏻♂️ Thiaw. What felt like a 50/50 1st/2nd benching decision between him and Dorgu had a 15 point swing in the wrong direction! 📝Summary: Considering Cunha to Schade/Minteh but may just roll.
Only one of these players will be autosubbed in for me this gameweek, can you guess who? 🤣
#FPL GW17 Review: Points: 77 OR: 514k⬇️ ⭐️ Defence: 3/4 clean sheets 🤦🏻♂️ Attackers: Just Haaland and Semenyo in the points. Some unlucky, some bad, and some injuries too. 📝Summary: Some big changes ahead. Transfers incoming.
#FPL GW16 Review: Points: 91 OR: 452k ⬆️ ⭐️ Attack: 5/7 double digit hauls and only 1 blank is an amazing return. 🤦🏻♂️ Defence: 8 points from a defensive 4 who had great fixtures (WOLx2 ,BUR, SUN) is a pain. 📝Summary: May be looking at moving Semenyo and Kroupi to KDH and Ekitike after GW17.
#FPL GW15 selection: Steady recent progress into the top 1m, and Foden is in for Doku. Haaland (c) as usual:
#FPL GW10 selection: Simple change ahead of this week, Gudmundsson to Rodon with my spare £0.1m. Haaland (c) as usual, and hoping for Gordon to finally show me something! Good luck all.
As for Kane, he plays for a better team in an easier league, and has been a world class complete forward for a decade, wanted by Man City at the height of their powers under Pep (and before they went for Haaland). Bayern can thank their recruitment team for him too.
Michae Olise was already a star, he signed for €60m (only that low due to release fee) and had 16 goal involvements in 19 games for Palace in 23/24. Most Palace fans acknowledge him as one of the clubs best ever players. He moved to a bigger team and matured a bit, that’s not Kompany’s achievement.
#FPL GW8 Review: Points: 82 OR: 1.3m ⬆️ ⭐️ Haaland (c): It’s always him at the moment, but should out to the defence! 🤦🏻♂️ Gyokeres: Fixtures couldn’t be better, outcomes couldn’t be worse. Summary: Finally have some balance in the squad and feeling ok about options, on to the next!
#FPL GW7 Review: Points: 68 OR: 2.4m🔻 Captain Haaland and superstar Semenyo save me again. Annoyed at even owning Xavi at this point, let alone picking him ahead of Grealish for a -9 point swing. Feel like I’m going round in circles chasing reliable options, hopefully 2/3 transfers to solve it.
It’s also noticeable that Haaland has achieved this across 3 clubs, and has 57 goal involvements in those 52 games.
#FPL GW6 selection: After last weeks horror show, taking a -4 to get Xavi (dropped) and Palmer to captain him, I’m now on a -8 this week to deal with my Ekitike and Palmer issues. 🤣 Rolling with the punches, Haaland triple captain! Good luck all.
#FPL GW5 Lineup Slightly annoying -4 having just Wildcarded, Isak getting more minutes than expected means I don’t want to risk Gakpo & Ekitike. Bruno, Gakpo & Porro > Palmer (c), Xavi & VDV. Good luck all!
Sorry there’s been an error, this is the correct selection for GW5:
