Librarian with a healthy(?) #FPL obsession. Last five season finishes were 74k, 15k, 113k, 93k, 165k.
Bit late posting, but here was my GW1. Not bad, Ill take it. Bench boost next week.
I think this is me done. Bench boost 2 locked, and most likely wildcard 4. Went for sangare as my £5 mil mid because GW2 away to Liverpool feels like a good chance for defcons. Petrovic has everton at home GW2 while the other choice Verbruggen has chelsea away. White and Anderson could move.
Interesting stats, Everton have been joint bottom for penalties received two seasons in a row, each time getting 2 from 38 games 👀
This is where I'm at for a bench boost GW2 wildcard GW4 draft. Ive come around to having a 5m mid for the 1st bench spot because all being well I will only need them for 1 game. Norgaard fits the bill with decent defcon potential away to Bournemouth GW2. Just need confidence of starts though.
Im liking this one. Big hitters with strong support. Think Tavernier is getting overlooked and Canvot is a solid defcon defender at a discount. Without Afcon, Sarr would have finished with a much higher points count.
Here we go, eyes peaking open, big yawn, stretch limbs. Time to get out of fpl bed. First draft, no knowledge of anything, just vibes and defcon 😅
Season finishes... 165k It's my lowest finish in 5 years so a bad season. Could have been worse, could have been a lot better 🤷♂️ Next season I'm going to lean more into consistency (no more captaining defenders!) Good game everyone. And good luck for next season.

Is playing Mavropanos over Wilson over thinking it? Just think Wilson gets 2 points or 9. Whereas Mavro could get 2 or 4 or 6 or 12 or 21 😅. Higher floor and maybe ceiling?
🟢 172k -> 97k Feels like I'm making all the wrong decisions and yet somehow ive scraped into the top 100k promised land 🤷♂️ Two 0 pointers on bench boost, last minute changes cost me about 20 points, I keep making the wrong transfer decisions, yet here we are. Hoping I can bumble over the line.
Think I might be settled on this for a while as a GW34 free hit (Beto could be anyone if he isn't fit)
🔴 Red arrow on wildcard is not what we want (especially as I switched Scott to Ampadu last minute). But the wildcard was all about the double to come.
🔴 Red arrow 139k ➡️ 165k Frustrating because I made a bad transfer going early. If id waited, I would have made a different transfer and be at least 10 point up. Live and learn.
GW31 Keane ➡️ Thiaw Salah transfer has been a nightmare, but we move. 🌍 139k
🟢 A good week 166k ➡️ 139k. Crawling towards top 100k. The danger is, two good weeks will climb 50k, one bad week will drop 200k, so got to be careful. This week was all about captain choice. Glad I didnt have Haaland because it easily could have been him.
