Had the opportunity to hear Dr Kirsty Sword Gusmao AO, former First Lady of Timor-Leste, speak on "From resistance to a life of service"; followed by a panel discussion on Longevity & Aging at Royal Society of Victoria (RSV), where I met up with another Homeward Bound alumni, Dr Anita Goh.

The @acs.org recently recognized the groundbreaking work of #WomenInScience Alice Augusta Ball with a National Historic Chemical Landmark. Ball, the first Black and first female chemistry professor in Hawaii, developed the first effective treatment for leprosy. www.acs.org/education/wh...
