I think they're actually trying to explain who they are more than distance themselves but it's still funny.
You say mid-2021 and then claim that doesn't correlate to inflation, but it totally does correlate. Not only did inflation start spiking to the highest rates in a generation, but it hasn't yet returned to the pre-spike 'normal', and of course people don't math and still just feel prices are high.
I read it so you don't have to. Makes the usual mistake of focussing on consciousness. Nazis and lions are conscious, but that doesn't mean we should integrate them into our society. Funny how it's only a *certain* type of philosophy major who can suddenly make a lot of money.
Gee, idk, but it's definitely not because the biggest industry on earth felt threatened by climate scholarship, and therefore weaponized a political party against scholarship and knowledge in general. Maybe the history and sociology isn't that complicated actually.

New record low nat gas on CAISO yesterday. Only 256MW. Renewables were charging batteries and also exporting to other grids.
I think this is a new record low for gas on CAISO? California grid running almost all on solar and nuclear right now.
'Final blow' just screams stupidity at the top of its lungs. This is how people who lose wars think about war.
I have no use for this sort of cynicism. It's the American electorate's job to learn something here, and it's the only way things can get better. (No need to pile on this person who is not even American, hence the screen shot. It's our (Americans) responsibility to fix this, not theirs.)

I'm struck that the NYT didn't use the passive voice here, like they usually do for Israel. It's almost like they know it's so bad they don't want the US to get the blame.
