Moving at a truly agonizing pace, I used my stump to scoop up a bag of flour that I had brought from the kitchen. The portrait of dignity, I tore at the corner with my teeth and spat out the debris before plunking it down.

“Aero.” A column of air manifested along the bag's ragged edge. Particles of flour were pulled into the area of effect and whipped into the room, a very different kind of blizzard than the one that came before. Then, I splayed my fingers and conjured a flame at the heart of it all.

…and by ‘forcing function,’ I meant thermobaric explosion.
