I spotted the Happy Cat delivery van! It felt good to know that someone could make a living from delivering things to cats.

Yesterday on West 10th Ave in Vancouver, just across from Kitsilano High School. Owners charging their EVs from their houses. A white EV in the foreground and a red one down the street. It's socially acceptable here to run your charging cable across the sidewalk. Life is good.

Alder Cove in Vancouver (back of Granville Island) on my walk back from a doctor’s appointment. Flowers and plants make this a longer but much more relaxing route. Ocean and mountains also help!

This 2024 Puglia Nero di Troia from Collection Barbanera was smooth and slightly heavy at the start, but it opened up nicely after a double aeration. The Puglia (Apulia) region forms the heel of the Italian boot. Nero di Troia (a.k.a. Uva di Troia) is well-adapted to the climate there.

Four Winds Brewing in Delta BC has brought out FEATHERWEIGHT IPA (4.5% ABV) to complement their original IPA (7%). Very nice in the warmer weather. #beer #ipa #delta #summer

Seen in the parking lot outside the 4 Mile Pub just north of Victoria on the Old Island Highway. They had pubs every few miles along the main road, back in the old days of horse-drawn freight. Some are still doing business nearly 2 centuries later. Dogs have moved with the times.

Sometimes, if you're already on the right path, a mystic portal simply takes you further along the same path. This one leads to Witty's Beach on the coast of Vancouver Island just west of Victoria.
