Froglife is a national wildlife conservation charity focused on the conservation of the UK’s reptile and amphibian species and their associated habitats.
Our #LondonBlueChain team created this beautiful raised wildlife pond with the fantastic Earth Tenders community in Dulwich. Together they installed the liner, planted it up and added wildlife-friendly access points, creating a valuable new habitat.

Look out for toadlets and froglets – they are on the move in July! This juvenile toad is hard to see, but is already making good progress through the undergrowth after leaving the pond.

Tiny but mighty! Pond invertebrates help keep water clean, support healthy ecosystems and provide vital food for amphibians. A diverse range of species is a sign of a thriving pond, so even if you can't spot frogs or newts, your pond could still be full of life.
Remember the pond Froglife Ecological Services restored at Tufnell Park Primary School? The team recently returned to help students with more planting, and now everything has settled, the teachers have shared some fantastic follow-up photos. The pond is looking amazing!
Our Reserve Warden, Clare, was visiting Shapwick Heath in Somerset and spotted this grass snake in one of the rhynes. A nice surprise whilst out on a walk.

Jess Chappell recently spotted this very gravid female adder on Thorne Moors, South Yorkshire. Adders are ovoviviparous, with eggs developing inside the female before she gives birth to live young. She looks ready to welcome a big brood—we reckon she's carrying plenty of baby adders!
