It took Trump using the word himself, but yeah, finally:
Angry federal judge rules that Todd Blanche's grant of immunity to Trump from IRS audits violates 26 U.S.C. § 7217. "Acquiescing to any such demand is wholly incompatible with the duties of DOJ attorneys." YOUCH! storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.us...
Progress! NYT calls it war in its homepage headline. (The article was more mealy-mouthed, however, saying "the United States and Iran appeared to edge closer to a return to full-scale war.")
But wait there's more! Tarps are going up outside the North Portico today.
Trump ruins everything he touches. Before; After.
Harmeet Dhillon swears in new civil rights division lawyers. The white stuff.
Jeff Bezos’s diminished and pathetic Washington Post abases itself by quoting Trump’s preposterous crowd-size numbers without any caveats. www.washingtonpost.com/nation/2026/...
That’s tomorrow. There’s also a bunch happening now. Ridiculous. https://wtop.com/fourth-of-july/2026/07/whats-that-noise-what-you-need-to-know-about-d-c-flyovers-friday-and-saturday/
Trump's financial disclosure statement includes hundreds of millions of dollars of crypto, some of which he got in return for access. So much corruption. gcc02.safelinks.protection.outlook.com?url=https%3A...
Here is the paragraph in which the New York Times, in its own words, sums up why Trump has created "a whites-only path to life in the United States". Apparently his lifelong history of racism had nothing to do with it. What cowardice. www.nytimes.com/2026/06/23/u...

Stop putting whatever Trump says in the headlines, I say. presswatchers.org/2026/06/stop... Washington Post says:
Very good to see the NYT leading its website with an article about JD Vance’s lies today. Fact checks are not sidebars for these people; they are the main story. The NYT should do the same for Trump almost daily. Also “misleading claims” is a cop-out; they’re called lies.
Paragraph 1 is a lie. A "permanent termination of military operations on all fronts"? Trump is already threatening to restart the war. Including Lebanon? Israel hasn't agreed to anything. And if paragraph 1 is a lie, what does that tell you about 2-14?
Well at least the Strait of Hormuz is now open and free, like Trump said, right? Wrong. www.theguardian.com/world/2026/j...
Some “peace treaty.” Trump leaves open the possibility of nuclear war.
Interesting one-two sequence of stories leading CNN home page:
Is the New York Times running out of fucks to give? www.nytimes.com/live/2026/06... I think not. But this is significant.
It is an article of faith in the NYT newsroom that many reasonable Republicans exist, even as the evidence consistently proves otherwise.
Kind of shocked to see this web page hasn't been taken down: www.justice.gov/crt/laws-we-...
