Really, these games could not have more different vibes from each other.
You know, it probably says something about me that I look at this and think "what other kind of toxic yuri is there?"
Here is what I have: the thread in which you disavowed defending Jemma and a screenshot you once shared of the accusations in DMs. I recall no specifics given. Just vague assertions that she "groomed" someone and that she's a danger. She was mass harassed based on secret evidence until she deleted.
Amazing parting shot when someone is not sure they quite got *all* the squares on the white fragility bingo card before blocking me. Truly an all-time response to someone explaining that intentions don't matter, the effects you have on others do.
Well, it started like this, and continued to go downhill as I refused to use her preferred language and she refused to engage with anything except the most superficial characteristics of my phrasing, lashing out incoherently. You're better off not seeing this garbage.
This game is amazing. Also, by the way, if I lose to myself, there's a wonderfully fucked up bad end scene. If only I could reciprocate when I win!
Also also... there are *extended* bad-end sequences that hit me very hard in my weak points. Like when you lose the fight to a hot spider and she lays her eggs in you...
Also the writing and art are fun as hell. The imps are freaks.
The people getting their vibes hacked are convinced AI is giving them superpowers while the rest of us can't help but notice how everything is getting worse and worse as it adopts AI. (And congrats to GitHub for slopcoding their way down to just one nine of uptime.)
Not to belabor the point excessively, but the following post got reblogged onto my dash today, and it's a clear-cut example of how some of these posters hop onto any transfem positivity post to claim it's "transandrophobic" simply by being about transfems. Things are bad on Tumblr.
This skews recent, but the problem with some of the games that once were important to me is that they (or their creators) really didn't age well.
Once upon a time, in the year 2021, I tweeted a fic that went weirdly viral. The later follow-up that I wrote lacked teeth, and so I disappointed myself with it. This is a very different follow-up which I'm much more satisfied with in that respect. fungalhalo.com/stories/unbu...
Published a new piece today. An early draft of this was submitted to the second Empty Spaces anthology. This version has been significantly edited. It contains themes of memory loss, paranoia, and disability.
This is the kind of person who's extremely willing to judge the intelligence of a person based on the presence of a single error in punctuation. The Defenders of High Culture are always worthless assholes.
Yeah, in my experience white collar workers aren't all *that* skilled in language. ...although, given my results, I'm probably not suited for judging what's normal.
I'm not completely indiscriminate in my taste, they just didn't really have much on there I felt anything other than lukewarm about. Nothing that really makes me happy like smoked brisket, seafood gumbo, chicago deep dish, or roast duck. I did thumbs down both edible gold and fish sticks though.
Unfortunately my horrible sons Brently and Gristopher aren't noteworthy enough to be mentioned. Even Google is ashamed of them.
Huge thanks to @raccuun.bsky.social for making my favorite pairing from Hades 2 come to life. Eris is doing a great job finally breaking down Melinoë's resistance!
Finding myself thinking about the Moon Stair again. It's my favorite region in Caves of Qud, and up there among my favorite video game zones of all time. The clash of hex-shaped structures drawn across the game's Cartesian grid is such an inspired way to evoke "alien geometry!"
Finally tried playing Fallen London, and I'm basically just treating it as Devil Dating Simulator.
This and two other similar messages are how you know Bluesky has made it, I guess.
Sure, you can simply poison those who set themselves against you, but isn't it better to turn them into tools?
