I have adapted a couple of cables to connect my FT-817 to the Digirig. Also added a PowerPole connector that protects the barrel connection for power. I have CAT and Data working.

Bad day today. Our Renault hatchback had a close encounter with a bus. The bus won! We are OK, albeit a little upset.
Playing FT8 radio, all the bands 40,30,17,12,10,6 and 2 meters.I don't have an antenna for 15!
I made a T2LT for 6 meters, bunged it up on a DX Commander pole. I didn't really expect much, omni directional, but I was surprised.
I moved the HF antenna, slightly different orientation, more true North to South. WSPR over the weekend, conditions were not too good on the higher bands and it's optimised for 40 and 30. 1 Watt. #WSPR #hamradio Into VK on 30 and 40!

In anticipation of moving back to the main QTH in a couple of weeks, I have put up a non resonant long wire. 36.270 metres of wire, inverted V over an Oak tree. Ran WSPR over the weekend, 1 watt. (I didn't bother to test or tune the antenna!) #WSPR #hamradio
I had a quick play with FT2. I had to cobble a very compromised antenna, and the 705 on 5 watts, so I didn't have a QSO but I was decoded in Italy. Interesting, more experiments will have to wait until I back at the main QTH. #FT2 #hamradio

Interesting what you find when you renovate an old building.

The #ISS #SSTV is underway. There are reception reports already! The first pass over my location is at 19:30.
I have got the QFH antenna working at my temporary QTH, in readiness for the #SSTV #ISS event. But just to prove it was working I had a play with APRS.
We had meatballs. Looked at office furniture. No batteries. Spent loads of money.
