The autoharp is busted¸ but I still have synths for days. How about a DAWless 8-bit jam with two "Any ages" synths? :) Almost embarrassed to tag #synthsky but I enjoyed myself. myxtape.io/broadcasts/s...
My autoharp cracked, either because of the dry air of a winter house in Australia or because it took one too many trips around the world on a plane. Now I have to find a luthier. :(
Spotted this Seiko 7N42-0ch0 at a Cashies being all lonely and nonworking. Gold-tone brick bracelet, 100m depth rating on a watch that will never see water, "COUTURA" printed on the dial for no reason other than that a marketing department needed a nameplate. It's the 2005 Buick Century of watches.
Yes, for the price of an 8pm gas station hot dog and six AA batteries, you too can be a techno god.
Today I fed kangaroos from my hands, then I bought a contact mic for a kalimba.
I may have found a Critter & Guitari Bolsa Bass to accompany the ancient but still totally cromulent OG Organelle. Wooden buttons for days...
I also have the Harvezi Hazze with me, which I can only describe as "a distortion pedal's distortion pedal."
I got a Warp. Using this with passive pickups doesn't work well, so I have a Boss BP-1W on the way. I want to try them together before I draw any impressions, but so far, I find this as delightful as any other heat Soma puts out.
The yellow section of the Moog Grandmother is where the magic happens.
I built a Watchy ESP32 epaper watch today. So far, I'm liking the aluminum case, and the custom faces are really fun. I need to find a MicroUSB cable to connect it with the Arduino IDE and change the location for temperature and weather.
I found a Bondi Effects 2026 compressor pedal at Caaaashiiies. A compressor is really useful for an autoharp. It can help make sure every string is heard at a consistent level without having to constantly adjust playing strength.
Rewarded myself for making it through another month and doing some chores today. Just call me Joseph Gordon-Levitt because I got myself an old Looper. (Boss RC-10R Rhythm Loop Station)
This phone call said that I could pay my tax bill with Milk Bones And I don't think that sounds legit but okay.
Come for the lucky dips, leave with graduating Pikachu chopsticks.
I can have my very own nigiri bullet train that operates on AA batteries.
Poly Bridge 2 is where good engineers learn "I don't know how it works but it's under budget so it ships."
Well, uh, it sounds...fuzzy? Mission accomplished! What do you think?
Who went to Cashies and got two legendary guitar pedals and Macca's fries? 👆👆
Me when I finally visit a Cashies in Australia for the first time and discover the used guitar pedals sitting next to a random old foot massager.
I walked into a JB Hi-Fi for the first time today. I was looking for a cable for something. It was overwhelming, like that scene from The matrix where they were like "We Need Guns" and woooooosh.
There's a RAM shortage, you say? Well, the dark side of AliExpress is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be unnatural.
Nothing says "I'm glad it's Friday" like eating a sushi sampler for two alone in the dark corner of a bar.
