First time visiting the Yorkshire Wildlife Park outside of Doncaster. Really large space, all natural enclosures, good variety of animals (if you can find them). Camera with optical lens required. Here are monkeys. More in replies.

Watched the most recent J. Draper video, and found out that MP Charles James Fox was sometimes depicted in political cartoons and caricatures as an anthropomorphic fox based on his name. Makes the connection between LondonFurs and the Intrepid Fox all the more funnier.

Because my house is topsy-turvy, the coolest room in my house is the bedroom on the ground floor. The hottest room is the computer room on the top floor. As such, I'm dealing with the heatwave by reading in my bed.

YouTube took me down a rabbit hole of the 1980s anime "The Laughing Salesman. I remember reading the manga at a hostel in Kyoto more than ten years ago, but I never got a chance to watch the anime. I cannot unhear this man's voice, who I can only describe as James Earl Jones speaking in Japanese.
