Well, that was fun. #kraftwerk at the Royal Albert Hall. Trans Europe Express was impressive. Also The Model. Plus most of the latter songs in the set which were enhanced versions. I’ve never seen them live before.
I’m sat in row 7 for #Kraftwerk at the Royal Albert Hall. If any of the band sneezes I’m liable to get hit! 😆
One for the #raveyardshift crew. Sometimes you hit paydirt on eBay. £8.55 for these 3 CDs. In their original cases & time-warp condition. Taking me back to Rulin & Open All Hours.
Luckily for me my older brother purchased both this album & the Feb 1990 edition of i-D magazine.
There’s a woman in these parts who drives a pink Range Rover with the number plate CAII MUM. (Not my picture, but people have snapped this car & posted it on Facebook).
Search your camera roll for “hell”. (A perfectly normal photograph, taken outside the Science Museum a few years back).
Out tonight to see the excellent Nightmares On Wax at the Albert Hall.
This is like when we went to Cornwall for our summer holiday a few years back.
If you see this post your green art. 💚 (Somewhere in this long chain the word #art got lost. Though no doubt Camberwick Green does deserve a mention.) Dale Chihuly, V&A Rotunda Chandelier, 2001.
If you see this quote post with your model of positive masculinity.
I remember seeing this for sale in Mothercare when the kids were little. Ironing playset, “realistic steam iron with lights & sounds”. 😂
I’m going to be controversial & say that I prefer The Anvil (Night Club School).
First heard this track on the free UCR mixtape that came with DJ Mag back in 1992. It’s also available on the excellent compilation album Colours. TC 1991/1992 refers to a group of Italian producers who released house music in the early 1990s. They had hits with the tracks "Berry" & "Funky Guitar".
My company office is moving from the unloved Hanger Lane to Euston. Which means I’ll no longer see this Heron in the equally unloved River Brent. #birds
My current car was funded by selling a Banksy print that I bought before he was very famous. No idea yet as to how my next car will be afforded…
Me in a previous era Feb 1995. Thomas Neal Centre, Covent Garden.
I assume that you’ve seen this photo? Walt Disney in Chingford in 1952.
Do musicians or other artists still get asked about their favourite books? Not sure.
If you see this, post a concert picture that you took. 📸 Paul Weller (Blur warmup) Wembley Stadium London 9 July 2023
