I’m experimenting with image generation in swift. The images are just soooo good, I can’t explain but look at this dolphin and tell me that’s not an amazing image. 😂🤩🐬 (It’s cropped out of a screenshot)

I cannot be stopped, I will be making more robot symbol variants. (I needed this bc I am adding an AI feature to my app, and I do not like the sparkle) I would love if I could animate an eye rotation, but I have not figured that out yet. (Also the naming is bad, I know)

I make an app for teachers timetables. I was quite proud to have released a big update and an in-app event for v2.0 last week. Something that only occurred to me now is that it’s currently Easter holiday for teachers in Germany. 🫠😂 well maybe I will time things better next time…

Finished it. Don’t mind the pink tape I used to pin it and the other painting to the wall. I don’t have the correct rolls to hang it properly, and I don’t want to drill into the wall for a frame (I don’t have). & I don’t want them to be rolled up in a box until I forget they exist.

The painting when the colors were still wet. Some tall mountains in the back, and some mountains with tall trees in the front. The trees are green and brown, the mountains are light brown and green-ish. The mountain in the back middle is very spiky, and the one on the back right has some trees growing on the top. The painting is on my desk with open colors on top of it.

It has light colors. The right painting one is a black ink painting of some rocks and some trees. It’s the first one I ever made. A copy of another painting from one of my classes.

Started a new painting today. It’s been nice having some time for this. ✨ I really need to get some practice in, I feel my mountains are too flat… (and I’m missing all of the details) (This is a copy of a different painting, but my mountains are a bit too tall, and too high up on the page)

I went to a new years concert yesterday and it was truly amazing! 🤩 something I’ve been feeling positive about is my internship. It’s a super nice group of people and a great place to work. 🥳🤩 I’m happy to go back next week (Currently I’m looking forward to a small vacation with my best friend.🏔️)

Ja meine sehen genauso aus… 😂 I usually just use the Pixelmator templates. And then I struggle with the text. I try to use the colors in the app icon for the background, but that only works if you have a multicolor icon. I had a time where I tried to overlap the frames…. (See attached) 😂😂😂

I just made a widget! My first widget! Actually this was kinda fun, but I’m unsure how to debug it. I don’t yet get how I can check that I’m not refreshing too often or that I’m not hitting other limits…

The writing is stating which course is next on a time table, it’s showing the time (the time is static Date()) it starts and ends, and the room number and the teacher as well. At the bottom it shows how many other lessons will be after this one.

Ouh there are so many nice things. Definitely hike elephant mountain, it has the best view on the city and 101. (Imo) Beautiful sunset. (But lots of insects) and try eating at a night market, I love Yilan Scallion Pancakes (I think that’s the spelling but not sure right now)

Omg. My app is #3 in the paid AppStore charts in Germany today. #1 in payed education charts. 🤩🤯😱 (It’s a timetable app for vocational students in Lower Saxony, and it’s payed so a bit easier, schools currently start here so that’s why, ranked before but never that high.)

App-Charts payed in Germany. My app (myBBS) is ranking third.

I hate the Google AI over views because sometimes I read it and believe it only to realize that it’s wrong. I googled where Stephen Colbert is from, and the AI thinks he’s from south California. He’s not. At least I think he’s not. I’m now doubting myself more after googling this. Thanks.

It reads in German “AI Overview” “Stephen Colbert, host of the late show, is born and from South California, through his wife Evelyn, who was born in South Carolina, he’s got connections to North Carolina.” I was googling this because I just met to people from South Carolina here, and was checking wether I remembered correctly that he’s from there.

It’s animals that were folded out of paper, they look like low poly renderings (made out of triangles and squares) I got a cat. But I’m thinking. The dogs are super cute as well.

Waiiiiit. It’s not always replaced with white shapes! Now, I did get it to work exactly once, but never again after that, it just changes the icon every time I hit run and I get a new, wrong version. It’s fun! A blind box! You never know what you’ll get! (I know it’s a beta)

Working with icon composer. I love it!😍 I like the new icon I made, but I sadly can’t really use it. In iOS 18 it’s either completely white, as all glass effects are removed and replaced by solid white, or when I use the export, they have the wrong corner radius. @useyourloaf.com rendering issues…

I finished my bachelors today! 🥳🥳 I’m super happy and proud that I got a 1.0 on my thesis and presentation. (My whole grade will be closer to 1.6 probably) 🤩🥳 I’m excited for what’s ahead and will start studying for a masters degree in autumn.

I’ve been experimenting with content tagging in the new foundation model. It’s actually quite nice, but it needed some more guidance than in the documentation. It used to make the tag up to 10 words long. (Yeah the tags aren’t ordered here.)

Content text with tags under them. First content “I apparently didn’t like the Burritos at Enchilada as well” the tags are “Enchilada”, “food”, “burritos”, “dislike”. The tags were generated by the foundation model.

In it you can chat with an AI which creates the automation. But whilst I was testing that, I realized that AIs tend to hallucinate in that task really bad. And so I tested 4 LLMs to figure out which is best and what features it needs. The LLM also has access to users entities. Here is a small demo:
