A regular occurrence when I wear the hat. Today a store clerk. clerk: that hat represent Canada? me: yes clerk: you from there? me: No, but I grew up near the Detroit River a stone’s throw from Canada. I wear it to support Canada. clerk: cool… me too. This will repeat in a few days.
Took another touristy walk on Michigan Ave in Chicago. This art installation is on Mich Ave and the bridge over the Chi River If you’re familiar.

Fire post generated a lot of interest. Here, the aftermath. Again, no injuries or fatalities but 3 homes destroyed.
Fires are abstract until you see one up close. This seen from the L train on Chgo’s west side. Three homes destroyed, no injuries or loss of life.
The Des Plaines River flows from Wisconsin to the Illinois River. Here, 9 miles west of dwntn Chicago overflowing its banks into a forest preserve. River is 1/2 mile away.
