Curious how Conservatives sarcastically call us WOKE because we won't whitewash history, laws, politics, religion, education, justice, etc., to turn America into a white Christian Nationalist idealogue that ignores the DEI teachings of Jesus. Have compassion, kindness, mercy, & help those in need.

Woke
Woke is an adjective derived from African-American English used since the 1930s or earlier to refer to awareness of racial prejudice and discrimination, often in the construction stay woke, recorded since at least 1924. The term acquired political connotations by the 1970s and gained further popularity in the 2010s with the hashtag #staywoke. Over time, woke came to be used to refer to a broader awareness of social inequalities such as sexism and denial of LGBTQ rights. Woke has also been used as shorthand for some ideas of the American Left involving identity politics and social justice, such as white privilege and reparations for slavery in the United States.

After 1950s Red Scare, Sen. Joe McCarthy's lawyer Roy Cohn became Trump's fixer. Trump just threatened his white nationalist base: "You can be a communist or you can be a patriot. You cannot be both.” Communism, by the way, is not Democratic Socialism. It's Trump who has his own red streak.

There's something truly wrong in the USA when CEO to Worker compensation rates average 285 to 1. Republicans don't see it's a man-made problem: Let the rich get richer & cut their taxes, while workers can't pay for food & shelter. No wonder why so many people require government support. TO SURVIVE.

The wealth gap has existed since our country’s founding, but it has exploded in the last half century. In 1965, CEO to worker compensation was 20 to 1. In 2025 it ballooned to 285 to 1. For the top 20 companies with low-wage workers, like Walmart and Chipotle, the average is 900 to 1. The CEO of Starbucks makes 6,600 times more than the average barista.
