One trope I will forever and always love is when the hero finally turns the tide of the battle, and their own theme takes over the combat music. It's always triumphant, it's always hype, it always makes me feel good inside.

Played TF2 again for the first time after 5 years. A few things I've noticed: 1) The game's exactly the same as it always was. NOTHING has changed, for better and for worse. It's as if it has been frozen in time. 2) Muscle memory is still intact, but I'm not used to Source movement anymore. 1/3
Super Mario World (1990, SNES): Few games put a genuine smile on my face all the way through, but this is one of them. A fantastic blend of whimsical graphics, catchy tunes, creative levels and a downright joyous atmosphere. In short: the perfect 2D Mario game, and my personal favorite of all time.

I think the saddest part of all these Zelda analysis videos is that the person making them is ALWAYS putting more thought into the topic than Nintendo ever has. "Ohh, could this prove a connection between these two games?" No. They put it there because they thought it'd be cool. That's it. 1/2
It's genuinely astonishing how awful Discord is at embedding videos. Reddit and Tiktok videos get turned into PNGs, while Youtube shorts are unwatchable. I can't even change the volume. And fullscreen? Forget about it! Remember when people jumped on Discord because it was better than Skype? Yeah...
As much as Mojang is desperately trying to sanitize Minecraft, I find it very interesting that you can still consume rotten human flesh in it. They'll probably retcon it and say it's just animal flesh the zombies are carrying around, but we all know what's up. They'd never add it these days, lol.
