Instagram does this thing where (presumably because I have an artist account) it keeps encouraging me to pay to have my most recent post shared as a sponsored post, and will show me that post as if it is a sponsored post, so right now I keep getting this in my feed, which is kinda funny

The American Service-Members' Protection Act
(ASPA), known as the Hague Invasion Act] (Title 2 of Pub. L. 107-206 (text) C (PDF) C, H.R. 4775G,
116 Stat. 820E, enacted August 2, 2002), is a United States federal law described as "a bill to protect United States military personnel and other elected and appointed officials of the United States government against criminal prosecution by an international criminal court to which the United States is not party!" The text of the ASPA has been codified as subchapter Il of chapter 81 of title 22, United States Code. The act gives the president power to use "all means necessary and appropriate to bring about the release of any U.S. or allied personnel being detained or imprisoned by, on behalf of, or at the request of the International Criminal Court" (31 (ICC), located in The Hague, Netherlands.

I started reading this Caitlin R. Kiernan novel (I know I know) that I found in a Little Free Library, why does the cover look like it is from early 2000s goth DeviantArt?

Caitlin R. Kiernan’s “The Red Tree” cover which features a woman in black jeans, white tank top and long black jacket open at the front with sleeves rolled up just below the elbows. Behind her is a hazy image of a large old house and tree branches filling out the rest of the negative space. The image is not monochromatic but is primarily sepia toms around the house blending into red tones around the tree branch. The title is written in a large script font while the rest is written a standard serif font. All the text has a soft outline or drop shadow directly behind it creating an outline.

Notification that a reply I posted featuring an animated gif was liked. The notification has a circular translucent play button partly covering the name of the account that liked the post. The play button is also cut off at the bottom by the margin of the notification.
