Whenever I see American food ties in that are just "Here's a Evil Dead hot dog!" I think about how Japan has us beat on themed food.

It's a themed crepe and drink menu for Magic Knight Rayearth. Everything is in Japanese, but each character is next to their respective food. Hikaru: She has a red theme. There's strawberry and custard crepe called "flame arrow" and rosehip tea with strawberry syrup called "red lightening". Umi: She has a blue theme. There's a salad pasta crepe called a "water dragon" with blue lemonade with mint and lemon called "blue tornado", Fuu: She's green themed. There's a kiwi, whipped cream, mint, and gold leaf crepe called "healing wind" and green tea drink with muscat syrup, muscat jelly, and mint called "blue gale," and Mokona: He's a white themed little rabbit-like creature. His crepe is yogurt ice cream panna cotta with raspberry nata de coco, mint almond slices, condensed milk and whipped cream (that's shaped like him) called "Mokona" and a drink of tapioca, coconut milk, and yogurt ice mint called "tapioca Mokona milk."

I have some writing work to do WHILE I'm at one of my other jobs, so I can't cry right now. I have things to do, but also one of the jobs is watching this sweet boy and when I cry he gets distressed. I can't do that to my boy.

It's getting worse. I just saw someone say "Movies have been using AI for over a decade but now everyone mad?" AI has seriously turned people's brains to mush. Now they think it's been around for over a decade????

jakeperalta on Tumblr says: not using AI genuinely feels like the rest of the world is experiencing some kind of mass amnesia. if someone says they never use it, the immediate response is that can't be true because "everyone" uses it to write their emails or answer their questions. saw a comment suggesting that not using chatgpt to write an essay is "like the 90s". girl I graduated in 2021 and we weren't doing that! how is it that everyone has suddenly forgotten that they were entirely capable of doing these things all by themselves for their entire lives up until the past few years!! am I going crazy!!!

Saw a YT video of a therapist breaking down a scene to talk about why a fictional character's apology was bad. The comments on it were a mixed bag, but it made me think of this.

I come from a family with a lot of trades people. I respect the trades but I agree. I can't imagine it'll help if all high school graduates flood trade schools either. Plus, I remember not having to hire anyone growing up 99% of the time because everyone already knew how to do it.

I actually just included a childhood restaurant in a pilot script I just wrote lol. It was torn down not that long ago. The Spaghetti Warehouse was a mediocre Italian restaurant, but it was in an isolated warehouse and had a trolley car inside. You ate there more for vibes than food.
