MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — The Minnesota man who pleaded guilty to killing a top
Democratic lawmaker and her husband was sentenced to spend the rest of his life in prison on Thursday, a little over a year after the political attacks.

Where: ICE Detention Center
4310 South Macadam Ave
This Monday, July 13th, Augustana staff member, seminarian, and Executive Director of the VIVA Inclusive Migrant Network at Augustana, Francisco Aguirre, has been summoned unexpectedly to check in at the ICE detention center at 4310 South Macadam Ave. He will be accompanied into ICE by Pastor Knutson, as is their custom over the years. Supporters are being contacted this weekend to have many others turn out and hold a peaceful gathering of prayer and song at the ICE detention center on Monday.
Francisco and Pastor Knutson will host a press conference at 10:00am outside the ICE offices before checking in. Hopefully they will come back out within the hour. All press are encouraged to attend. We appreciate the way you have covered these stories over the years. This is a critical one.

This is very much a local topic and doesn't violate guidelines. I have been the target of people weaponizing the moderation system because of my political beliefs.
