Fur since 04. Rat/Burr/Dog. Coffee. Lifter. MSc CS. Synthesisers. AKA Brutus. He/Him 🏳️⚧️ Transgeneri Sumus 🏳️🌈 If we can protest but no one is allowed to see it, does it still make a sound? It is morally okay to deck a Nazi.
They became regular hookups, and by that I mean if Brutus wants it, he sends one message, and he gets it... immediately.
Like mate, my upper back is so much more stable with the bar just touching my delts rather than purely on the traps. Only 100k here but I'm deliberately light to experiment.
So I send pictures of an "American" themed bar in England to American friends and EVERY SINGLE ONE responds with "the chairs are too comfortable otherwise it's pretty accurate" And here I thought it'd be funny but now I'm just perplexed.
I am actually going fucking insane. Ticket comes in about incorrect data. Dipshit gets claude to do it. It's wrong. I step in and do it manually and find the papertrail in five minutes. He asks claude again. I tell him it's fabricating information. He asks claude a third time and it says THIS.
Literally a guy with a fucking bin on his head, by the way.
"BuT nObOdY wAnTs BeVs" My arse. Eat it.
An update on squats. 145K (320L) are easy-breezy now. I'm still not back to the previous max I had before buckling my knee (170K/375L) but I'm not far off. Bonus is that I've lost weight since then, making this lift roughly 1.7x my bodyweight. To move 1.7x that well is a sign of good things.
Commission information is available at my personal website! Updated T&Cs and will now accept WISE payments. gingin.benanderson.homeip.net#commissions
After nearly seven months, my compressors finally arrived! Problem. They need driving from proper auxiliary sends so I might have to invest in a proper desk...
I'm in a big meeting called the "AI Forum" at work. They go around the table asking for use cases, and I mention prediction modelling like regression to trigger automation tasks and the big wigs had no fucking idea what I was talking about. The head of operations said it best:
*FULL FORCE PUNCHES THE FUCKING SIGN SO THE FUCKERS IN THE BACK PAY ATTENTION*
I'm sick of this discourse so I'm just going to spell it out in plain English. 14% of Brits have AC, 25% of Germans, 50% of Spaniards, etc. We are trying, but our homes aren't built out of cardboard and sticks making it hard to punch holes in things, and the sudden demand has sent prices SKYWARD.
Oh, and, because it's direct string insertion into a query and not the proper middleware it must parse the text in the query with type casting. It's PAINFULLY slow and expensive, and for some reason it's reverse cosine in a vector that is 1024 units in length. Utter garbage from top to bottom.
It is COMICALLY poor. I mean FFS, in order to put the user prompt tokens into a SQL vector query (yes, it uses SQL as it's underlying data source, I don't know why), it does direct string injection. Like... not using the parser, just direct string injection. This shit. I'm dying.
New rep PR on dumbbell bench. 42.5k (94lb) dumbbells 5x5. I am fucking DYING.
Thank you, @scottishjock.bsky.social
It's infuriating because the price of the actual hardware has dropped like a stone. Here's a 2.5kW (9000 BTU) for only £380 that would heat AND cool a decent sized living room. £380 is nothing for many people. An installer would slap £1200 on top of that without hesitation.
