We went to see 'David Bowie - You Are Not Alone' today at The LightRoom in London Was amazing.
Lovely Saturday morning sounds from Mojave 3. Nice to have a really good quiet pressing of this now, as my 'Sonic Cathedral' pressing has a lot of non-fill distortion on side one.
Mojave 3 box has arrived. I remember falling in love with this album when i took a chance on a 2nd hand promo cd back when it came out. Like many then, i had stupidly abandoned Slowdive after their 1st album when MM and NME decided they were yesterday's news. This brought me back in.
What a great performance. Wish i'd been able to see them live back then. Partridge sounds manic; no wonder he burned himself out on live performance not long after. SQ could be a bit better, but hey ho, it is an (official) bootleg.
