i love this dumbass rodent more than anyone will ever know, and even though the series currently wants to distance itself from what made me love it in the first place, i'll always cherish what it means to me as a person and (sometimes) an artist. happy birthday to sonci the blue rat... get gud again
i very much agree, but i will say that i think his appearance is a bit more consistent in the anime, despite how the artwork is obviously way less detailed. some shots are also kiiinda fixed like this one that in the anime, no longer shows jonathan's birthmark in the wrong place
