Like I've done before, wanted to repost an update from @gulpr.app's Telegram channel; help get the word out a bit more so folks are informed and kept in the loop! Fingers-crossed all goes well!

To quote their post...

An even *worse* example of this change, the likes stat is cut-off by the view counter which is cut-off by the upload date/time which is cut-lff by the screen gdhdlfhs

YouTube stop making its UI worse for 5 seconds challenge impossible?? What was so wrong about the like count being *next to the like button????* Channel handle, like count, view count, upload time? Why??

Instead of the like count being next to the like button, it's now placed in the same spot as the channel handle, view count, and upload date.

An important post from @fluxer.app I wanted to share from their server! Helps inspire some more hope for the up-and-coming chat alternative~!

Hey all! :ameowmeltwave:

Fluxer was released in January this year in public beta, had zero traction until the middle of February, which is when Discord announced its planned age verification changes. It was developed on and off by me over 5 years, with a group of testers on my side, and you can read more about this @ https://blog.fluxer.app/how-i-built-fluxer-a-discord-like-chat-app/. In a very short amount of time, we've had to handle scaling the platform to 190,000 users, with a peak of 11,000 concurrent users when Discord had an outage just recently.

Since then, the team has grown to three people (!), handling various responsibilities, but this is still a public beta and we need your help to continue becoming a great alternative to platforms such as Discord. Unlike Discord, we don't have venture capital backing us, and we don't have a team of hundreds of people working on engineering. But we are working towards the release of "v2", which will let us open up pull requests in our GitHub repository, allowing a whole community of contributors to rapidly help with developing Fluxer to iron out all the issues you've noticed so far.

Are floppy disks called "floppy" because the disc inside the case is loose in it and kinda shakes around inside?
