They usually send an email before they escalate to actually putting warnings on pages, I think. I'm in my various pages often enough that I often see the report exists before they send the note though. It's at the top of the bookshelf page.
This took way too long to find. All it takes is a unanimous vote, right? xkcd.com/498/
Went to the Hangar Museum in Calgary yesterday, as it was supposed to be the day their WWII Lancaster bomber was open for visitors to go inside. Sadly, there was a potential safety issue and they correctly closed it Amazing museum though - and yikes is the Lancaster huge.
Skadi realized I was following her around (singing a silly song, because she'd been squeaking) and rolled over on her back for belly rubs. Apparently she wasn't trying to lead me anywhere.
#plantsky. Please help my mother in law ID this mint she took some of thinking it was catmint, but now is hesitating over planting for her cats. Found in a Calgary front yard.
I shuffled my schedule. Wrote the book. Got an amazing cover from @looceyloo.bsky.social and got peer-pressured into a ridiculous joke by @skyladawn.ca And then it, so far as I can tell, went viral here on Bluesky. I was hoping for 4,500 30-day sales (what my last SF book got) I sold 9,000.
I do a comparison run of sales for all of my books at day 1, week 1 and month 1 (30 days). Since I just finished that report for Spirit Blade, it seems time to talk about how well this book did. Long story short: Spirit Blade was a runaway hit by my standards, doubling my sales *hopes*
DAAAAD, stop fussing, it's not like I got caught in the storm that's coming in or anything.
I think Spirit Blade has been my most successful urban fantasy launch ever, which I'm pretty sure I can blame on Blue Sky. A former magical knight has to decide if he's able to walk away when buildings start burning and his new job starts smelling evil... mybook.to/SK1SpiritBlade
Sci Fi terrain and fantasy vampires all primed and ready to go. (This has a non zero chance of being the final state of most of the terrain, lol)
Despite the presence of enough fur to cover another small cat like her, Skadi says the grooming should continue.
This is a cat check point. Toll is the most recent cat picture on your phone.
Apparently I have explicit "piss off the reader" scenes in my book and am somehow not open about the setting of my urban fantasy. Who knew?!
The galactic war is over. Humanity and their allies have won. What happens now? Peacekeepers of Sol on sale until Friday! Raven's Peace is free! mybook.to/RavensPeace The Peacekeeper Initiative is $0.99 / £0.99 mybook.to/peacekeeperi... Raven's Course is $1.99 / £1.99 mybook.to/ravenscourse
I guess Aaron and his friends are doing well. If they keep this up, I have to write more Shucks... I did already put up a preorder for book two.
The Great Devourer has breached the training exercises. AdMech and Dark Angel forces are doomed...
Please buy and review my hot guy rescues cat book so I can write more about this ridiculous himbo paladin. mybook.to/SK1SpiritBlade
Happy book day to me! You can take the man out of the knighthood - but can you take the knighthood out of the man? Aaron Conner wanted a quiet life, away from the supernatural that defined his younger years. Fate... has a different plan. mybook.to/SK1SpiritBlade
Look what we have. Sample coins for Starships Mage, Peacekeepers of Sol and Castle Federation!
I did not realize the Batman reference until I said Thulia Ghuld's name aloud to pick up my preorder.
We were getting ready for bed last night when Freya snuck into the bathroom. Not sure what she wanted in the tub (not water, we checked) but she was very polite about it, as always.
Freya seems to approve of my managing to get to the living room and fall down on the couch.
Yeah... This guy is almost certainly not getting painted to the level of detail he's modelled with. But he's very cool (Winged Daemon Prince of Tzeentch)
I am sick. I have not got nearly as many words as I have wanted and several admin tasks have hit the red must-be-done zone. But at least my cat is freaking adorable.
As an alternative to the news, I present Freya's epic grumpy face at being woken up and not immediately petted because I was taking the photo
