For tonight's #raveyardshift I'll be giving a taste of what I'm planning to play next month at an outdoor party in Stone Ridge, NY. I'll be exploring two themes: "raves of olde" and "hard for david." Tonight I focus on some of the "hard for david" tracks I've collected for this special occasion.
At it again. This time I'm using an Ortofon cartridge instead of my usual audio technica. The other turntable is in the shop. I've got a busy day ahead. Ripping some vinyl and also contributing to the #raveyardshift. Stay tuned.
Great thread, but I (and so many others) remember her from DYNASTY
PS I found my copy of the Sting track! It was in my pile "to rip" LOL (even has my address label from Philadelphia many moons ago)
The McKinley National Memorial in Canton, Ohio. Constructed in 1907, its site was designed in the shape of a sword, with a reflecting pool forming its blade. In the 1950s, due to maintenance issues, the pool was filled in and replaced with a lawn.
Thunderhill Raceway. I feel like I landed on another planet. WTF
Street scenes on a quiet Sunday morning. For an agricultural town, Chico is surprisingly hip. #chico
I'm in a church for a memorial service for my sister-in-law. A Lutheran church. This is the banner behind the altar. It reminds me of the people that I love and support.
