Henley and Partners' bogus data was used to fuel an avalanche of false media reports that govt tax changes led to a 'millionaire exodus'. Today, we showed up at their HQ (alongside special guest Mr Monopoly) to correct the record. It's time for the richest to PAY UP.
This is the reality for millions, especially young people. Pouring more and more of our paychecks into the pockets of ultra-wealthy corporate landlords. This can't carry on. The solutions are clear: Tax the super-rich. Invest in affordable homes. Cap rents.
Reform can rip up climate policies. But the reality hasn’t changed: it's Reform's constituents being hit by higher bills, food prices and extreme weather driven by climate breakdown. And it's only climate action policies which stop these crises getting worse.
And @compassoffice.bsky.social organised a protest outside Elliot Management - who among others just issued a £3 billion cash bailout to Thames Water. They get billions. Our bills rise & our rivers choke. It's time for them to PAY UP.

Outside INEOS HQ earlier today. Jim Ratcliffe - INEOS' owner - is worth £17 BILLION. He got rich from a fossil fuel empire that's brought us to the brink of climate collapse. It's time he paid up so we can fund climate action to clean up his mess.
In Scotland, we were outside the New Club in Edinburgh. Scotland's oldest private members club. And a symbol of the super-rich individuals who our tax system allows to hoard huge amounts of wealth. It's time for them to PAY UP.
And in Stoke we were at Bet365’s offices this morning - where CEO Denise Coates has banked billions whilst gambling addictions soar 🤮 We're sick of being told there is no money - or that we have to slash support for disabled people to balance the books. PAY UP.
